HOGL and GATC genotype genetically engineered mice for the Doetschman Lab.
As a service for the Doetschman Lab, the Human Origins Genotyping Laboratory receives tissue samples from genetically engineered mice with specific mutations. HOGL extracts, quantifies and PCR amplifies the samples via our high-throughput automated pipeline. The samples are then passed on to the Genomic Analysis and Technology Core for genotyping via sequencing, fragment analysis, or rtPCR.
