Researchers within Arizona Respiratory Center are interested in chronic lung disease such as asthma by examining the interactions between environment and genes and their combined effect on immune system development and the onset of childhood illness. The Human Origins Genotyping Laboratory, along with the Genomic Analysis and Technology Core, provides genotyping for many of these research projects.
