Administrative Associate
Biotechnology-HOGL, GATC, & BCF / Biomedical Engineering- BME
I am an administrative professional working to share my organizational
skills with the Biotechnology & Biomedical Engineering divisions of
ARL. I’ve enjoyed working as an administrator for well over 10 years
in various organizations and environments. Working in a lab
environment is a first for me. I’m learning an entirely different
language called Science…
I am currently seeking a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies-
Enterprise in Society degree through Northern Arizona University’s
distance learning program. This is a degree I refer to as “business
light” that allows me to pursue my University education almost entirely
through web-interface classes.
I am engaged to be married to Charles William Amaral later this year in
Las Vegas, Nevada. Charlie is an incredible man who is a big part of
my life and my best friend.
I am heavily involved in a medieval recreation group called the Society
for Creative Anachronism with a local group, the Kingdom of Atenveldt.
The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and
re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Due
directly to my SCA activity I am proficient in a variety of art forms
including:
- Period Middle Eastern Dance (Belly dancing)
- Sewing- costuming
- Calligraphy & Illumination
- Alchemy
- Jewelry making- Metal working
