Research Technician

As a Research
Technician at the Human Origins Genotyping Laboratory I am part of a
fantastic team of scientists who perform population genetic testing for
the public sampling of National Geographic's Genographic Project.
I am currently Test Leader of the Mitochondrial analysis options
available for the Genographic Project and have begun to help work on
the DNA Shoah Project. I earned my B.A. in Anthropology with a Minor in Biology from Northern Arizona University in May of 2007.
My future plans are to attend Graduate School for Forensic Anthropology
and to one day become certified by the American Board of Forensic
Anthropology; a feat that only 77 individuals have met.
Outside of the lab I enjoy distance running, reading, the outdoors and hanging out with my dog, Healie and cat, Charles.
